Bob Staake's The Heard comic panel runs every week in the Cape Cod Chronicle. In the cartoon, Staake draws on overheard conversations, gossip and the quirky people he comes in contact with in Chatham, Massachusetts. Sometimes The Heard is funny, sometimes it is merely lame. Either way, Staake considers it cheaper than going into pschological therapy.
