Known for his high-energy, retro-inspired illustration
style, Bob
Staake's

He has authored
and/or illustrated over 45 books, including 'Hello, Robots!'
(Viking), (Random House), 'The Orb of Chatham' (Commonwealth
Editions), 'Sputter, Sputter, Sput' (HarperCollins) and 'Struwwelpeter'
(Fantagraphics Books). He is currently working on 'Baby Burp'
(Little, Brown) and a memoir entitled 'Old House, New House'.
