Alfred T Staake, beloved father of Robert and Ronald, passed away peacefully in San Diego January 30, 2004 with Ronald and former wife "Jean" (Brigitte M. Faulkner) at his side. A longtime resident of Torrance and a former supervisor at Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo, he was a wonderfully easygoing father with a love of sports, investing, sneaking candy to his grandkids and card playing. (His sons are just happy that he was a GOOD card player.) Grandfather of Ryan, Kevin, Nicole and Kelli Staake and father-in-law to Paulette Fehlig and Deanna (formerly Baker) Staake, his children and grandchildren gave him great joy -- and all hold wonderful and cherished thoughts of 'Grandpa Squeaky'. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. At his request, his ashes will be set free on the Pacific Ocean. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to:
