You mean copying re-using and/or re-posting images from the internet is illegal?

CopyNo Means No!

CopyNo is Patent-Pending

How?

Artists, illustrators, photographers and graphics professionals are reasonable people. If you have found an image on the internet and wish to use it on your non-commercial web site, contact the creator and ask them for permission.

When legitimate, good faith requests such as this are received, quite often they are granted -- the creator of the image appreciative that you took the time to contact them -- and to ask.

That's not to say that whenever you request to use an image on your site that it will be granted. Understand that the livelihood of these visual artists is dependent on the licensing of their artwork, photos and images.

Please respect their decision to allow you to use an image -- or not.

Oh, and be sure to tell 'em you're contacting them through CopyNo.com!
